In the context of COVID, Joint Secretary of Health Ministry Lav Aggarwal and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Vikram Sahay today addressed officers from All India Radio, Doordarshan, Press Information Bureau and Regional Outreach Bureau.
The session was regarding communication during the emerging COVID situation. Mr. Aggarwal discussed the current situation of the COVID pandemic across the world and in India. He stressed on strong messaging in a manner that the public is cautious but does not panic. Important aspects that need to be focussed in the communication by the media units were highlighted.
Mr. Sahay discussed the manner in which the implementation of this communication should be taken forward.
