Mayor & other kick starts development works at Digiana.

Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu in presence of Sh. Vikram Randhawa former MLC, Sh. Baldev Singh Billowaria Councillor of ward no 56, Sh. Vinay Gupta Distt. President BJP Jammu Kick started construction work of community Hall at first floor over the existing building near Radha Krishan Temple at Rani Talab Digiana Jammu of ward no. 45. Sh. Satpal Chowdhary Senior leader, Sh. Vinod Sharma ward president, Sh. Narinder Gupta (koki), Sh. Verinder Gupta President of Mandir committee and other Prominent inhabitants of the locality as well as Sh. Janak Raj Saini Assistant Executive Engineer Div IV, Sh. Vishal Kotwal  Junior Engineer & other supervisory staff of the division were also remained present there during the occasion. While addressing  the media persons, mayor told that it was the long pending demands of the locals and management of Mandir committee as due to shortage of space in the existing hall, they were facing great hardships in organizing religious/social functions in a smooth manner and  in order to provide benefits to the residents of the ward & other adjoining localities, this much needed construction work of the community Hall has been started today with an estimate cost of Rs 36.00 lacs and directed the concerned engineers accompanied with him to keep strict vigil over the ongoing development workand ensured that this work may be completed within stipulated time frame and applying best quality and durable construction material .He also appeal to the general public to come forward to cooperate with JMC and other allied agencies in all the development works being undertaken in the various wards of the city as all the councilors in collaboration with officers of JMC is committed to provide best possible development facilities to the general public  from the last three years when they were elected as Municipal Councilors.
