Vice President Dhankhar says democracy, economy flourish when transparency & accountability are reflected at each stage in governance
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that democracy and economy flourish when transparency and accountability are reflected at each stage in a governance system.
Inaugurating the 49th National Management Convention in New Delhi today, he said, the leaders of the industry play a critical role in improving efficiency in the economy. Mr Dhankhar added that India is among the global leaders in use of digital technology for nearly everything from education to business to governance.
He also said, India is due to take over the Presidency of the G-20 group this year-end. Mr Dhankhar said, this will give the country another opportunity to shape the global economic and political agenda.
The Vice President said, the Indian industry has a crucial responsibility in the upliftment of the farm sector. He also said, if the farmer progresses, India progresses.
