Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar to felicitate farmers, FPOs, Agri Start-ups, entrepreneurs, bankers for their contribution in field of Horticulture

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is organizing an event  “Expansion of Horticulture Value Chain in India – Potential and Opportunities”  tomorrow at Pune in Maharashtra.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar will be the Chief Guest on this occasion.  

According to an official statement,  the Minister will inaugurate the Exhibition and felicitate farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Agri Start-ups, entrepreneurs, and bankers for their contribution to the field of Horticulture.

He will also launch a book, “Organic Packaging of Practice for Horticultural Crops”, a compilation of success stories of the Horticulture Sector.

The event will be attended by farmers, Agri Start-ups, Researchers, Policymakers, Bankers and other stakeholders.

It will bring relevant stakeholders such as farmers, FPOs, Centre of Excellence (CoE) in various crops, ICAR Crop Specific National Research Centres, and Precision Farming Development Centres on the same platform.
