Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi inaugurates two-day Training Programme for Haj Coordinators and Assistants
The government has made the entire Haj process completely transparent and it has ensured that there is no additional financial burden on the Haj pilgrims who will be performing Haj after two years. Inaugurating a two-day Training Programme for Haj Coordinators and Haj Assistants in New Delhi today, Minority Affairs Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, a 100 percent digital Haj process has fulfilled the dream of Ease of Doing Haj for Indian Muslims.
He added that no additional financial burden on Haj pilgrims even after abolition of subsidy is proof that political deceit was going on for decades in the name of Haj subsidy. For Haj 2022, 357 Haj Coordinators, Assistant Haj Officers, Haj Assistants, Doctors, and Para-Medics are going to Saudi Arabia to assist Haj pilgrims. Over 79 thousand Indian Muslims will go for Haj this year including about 50 percent women.
