Union Minister Bhupender Yadav launches face authentication technology for Digital Life Certificate
Labour and Employment Minister Bhupender Yadav today launched the facility of face authentication technology for Digital Life Certificate in New Delhi. This will help those pensioners who face difficulties in getting their bio-metrics through fingerprint and iris captured due to old age.
Mr Yadav also launched Pension and Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, EDLI calculator. This will provide an online facility for pensioners and family members to calculate the benefits of Pension and Death Linked Insurance benefits they are eligible for.
The Union Minister chaired the 231st meeting of the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of the Employees’ Provident Fund. During the meeting, the Board gave in-principal approval for centralized disbursal of pensions for further improving the EPFO services for pensioners.
