Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the use of technology as well as platforms like MyGov have enabled full benefits of government programs and schemes to reach citizens at large. Addressing a daylong event to celebrate eight Years of MyGov in New Delhi today, he said, MyGov has helped citizens to engage with the government.
MyGov, the Government of India’s citizen engagement platform, was launched in 2014 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has been built on the three pillars of Do, Discuss and Disseminate. MyGov has evolved as the one-stop destination for citizens to contribute their unique skills toward nation-building. With over two crore 50 lakh registered citizens, MyGov has effectively blended creativity and the latest technology through discussions, innovation challenges, quizzes, creative contests, pledges and polls.
