Two-day meeting of BJP National Executive to begin today in Hyderabad; PM Modi, HM Amit Shah and CMs of BJP ruled States to attend meet
The BJP National Executive Committee meeting will begin today in Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend all sessions of the two-day meeting.
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that the National Executive Committee meeting is being held in Hyderabad after 18 years. Ahead of the meeting, BJP president JP Nadda held a meeting of General Secretaries yesterday evening.
The party’s national office bearers meeting will be held this morning. The Executive Committee meeting is likely to witness participation of about 340 delegates including Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari among others.
Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states will also attend the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the National Executive Committee meeting which will start in the evening. Mr Modi will attend all the sessions and stay with the party workers. The Meeting will continue till tomorrow evening.
The Prime Minister also will address a public meeting at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad tomorrow evening. BJP workers from 35 thousand polling booths from across Telangana will attend the ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’.
BJP President JP Nadda inaugurated an exhibition at the meeting venue showcasing contributions of BJP for the formation of Telangana.
Meanwhile, BJP top leaders visited all 119 Assembly constituencies under the ‘Sampark Abhiyan’ and they exhorted party cadres to strive for strengthening the party in the state.
AIR correspondent reports, All eyes turned to Hyderabad with the BJP holding its key decision-making body, National Executive Committee meeting in Telangana state Capital for next two days. All arrangements are in place and top leaders of the BJP have already started reaching Bhagyanagar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving at Hyderabad at around 3PM and will attend all meetings along with executive Committee members. The Executive committee will begin its meeting at 4PM this evening and continue till late in the evening.
The NEC meeting will continue tomorrow. Party will discuss its future strategies and a gamut of issues which have significance at national and international level.
The meeting will be passing several resolutions including the political one. Over 340 delegates including 18 Chief Ministers of BJP rules states, Union Ministers, former Chief Ministers, office bearers and key leaders of the party in various states will take part in the meeting.
The National Executive Committee meeting will be followed by a massive public meeting, called BJP Vijaya Sankalp Sabha, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address. Party Parliamentary Board members and key ministers also will attend the meeting.
