Shivsena President Uddhav Thackeray has expelled rebel Sena leader and incumbent Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde from the party for indulging in anti-party activities.
The party release said, Mr Thackeray, in a letter written to Mr Shinde, informed him of his expulsion from the party.
In the letter, Mr Thackeray said in exercise of powers vested in him as Shivsena President, he has also removed Mr Shinde from the party posts.
