The Supreme Court today came down heavily on suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma for her remarks on the Prophet during a news debate on the Gyanvapi mosque issue. Hearing a plea filed by Nupur Sharma seeking transfer of the FIRs against her to Delhi, a vacation bench of Justices Surya Kant and J.B. Pardiwala said, Nupur Sharma should apologise to the whole country. Accusing the leader of igniting emotions across the country with her disturbing remarks, the apex court said, she is single-handedly responsible for what is happening in the country.
