Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh says all Panchayats will be integrated with Bhu-Aadhaar

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh has said that all Panchayats will be integrated with Bhu-Aadhaar and a specific number will be provided to sarpanch by end of the next year.

Addressing the Good Governance Conference under the iconic week of Panchayati Raj in New Delhi, Mr. Singh said, the government has already signed an agreement with twenty-nine states for Swamitva and similar agreements with the remaining thirteen states are in process. He said, people will be benefited after completing the Bhu-Aadhaar. It will also help in reducing false land ownership issues.

Stressing on policies for rural development, Mr. Singh said that Sarpanchs need to focus on the holistic development of their villages in the plan.
