Railway Ministry pays all ex-gratia amounts to next of kin of those lost their lives in yesterday’s train accident
Ministry of Railways has paid all the ex- gratia amounts to the next of the kin of those lost their lives in the yesterday’s train accident as well as to the injured. Guwahati-Bikaner express train derailed yesterday near New Domohani Railway station in West Bengal. Team of Railways made arrangements overnight and made the ex-gratia payments in the least possible time .
The Railways has paid 25 thousand rupees to 26 persons each who sustained simple injuries. In this way a total of 6 lakh 50 thousand rupees were given. In case of grievous injuries, a total of 10 lakh rupees were handed over out of which one lakh rupees were paid to 10 persons each.9 persons have lost their lives in the accident and an ex-gratia of 5 lakh rupees were given to each person. In total 45 lakh rupees were paid in case of death
