Prime Minister to inaugurate, lay foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs 16 thousand cr in Jharkhand on July 12

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of various development projects worth more than 16 thousand crore rupees at Deoghar in Jharkhand on 12th of this month.

These projects will boost infrastructure development, enhancing connectivity and give an impetus to ease of living in the region. It will also help in significantly improving socio-economic prosperity in the region.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Deoghar Airport to provide direct connectivity to Baba Baidyanath Dham, which is an important religious destination for devotees from all over the country. It has been constructed at an estimated cost of around 400 crore rupees. Mr Modi will perform Darshan and Pooja at Baba Baidyanath temple which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

In the evening, the Prime Minister will address the Concluding Ceremony of Centenary Celebrations of Bihar Legislative Assembly in Patna. He will inaugurate Shatabdi Smriti Stambh which has been built to commemorate 100 years of Bihar Vidhan Sabha. Mr Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Vidhan Sabha Museum.

AIR correspondent reports, Mr Modi will inaugurate the newly built international airport at Deoghar in Jharkhand on July 12. The airport spread across 638 acres of land and built at a cost of over 400 crore rupees will provide direct connectivity for devotees and tourists visiting Baba Baidyanathdham temple situated in Deoghar, which is one of the 12 Jyortirlings in the country.

Prime Minister will also inaugurate the 250-bedded AIIMS Hospital in Deoghar. Mr Modi will also virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than 16,835 crore rupees which include 13 new eight-lane highways, direct railway route for Varanasi from Deoghar, redevelopment of Ranchi Railway Terminal and laying of natural gas pipeline project.

Prime Minister will also offer prayers at Baba Baidyanathdham temple and later address a public rally at Deoghar College Ground.
