Prez Kovind and V.Prez Naidu greet people of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura on Statehood Day
President Ram Nath Kovind has greeted the people of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura on their Statehood Day. In a tweet, Mr. Kovind said, these states, full of natural riches, represent the vibrant culture and unique traditions of our northeast. He conveyed best wishes to the citizens of these states for a happy and prosperous future.
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also greeted people of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura on their state foundation day today.
In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, these states are known for their captivating beauty, diverse flora-fauna, rich cultural heritage and hard working people. He said, these states are a great example of living in harmony with nature. The Vice President said, over the years these states have contributed immensely towards the nation’s progress. He hoped that these states will reach newer heights of prosperity in the times to come.
