President Droupadi Murmu today visited National War Memorial in the national capital and paid tributes to the Martyrs on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. Ms Murmu laid a wreath at the Memorial and paid homage to the Martyrs.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt, Army chief, General Manoj Pande, Indian Navy chief, Admiral R Hari Kumar and Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari and Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar were present on the occasion.
