PM Modi to embark on two-day visit to Gujarat from tomorrow; To inaugurate several development projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a two-day visit to Gujarat on 27 and 28 August. During the visit, he will inaugurate several projects at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Kutch. On the first day of his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the KHADI UTSAV at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad and address the weavers on the occasion.

Thousands of weavers from across the state will weave the spinning wheel together at the event. Next day the PM inaugurate and perform ground-breaking ceremonies for various projects in Kutch, including Smruti Van which is a memorial built atop the Bhujio hill near Bhuj in memory of victims of 2001 Gujarat earthquake.

Prime minister would also address a gathering at the Kutch University ground in Bhuj. Later in the day, PM will preside over a function at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar which has been organised to commemorate the 40 years of Maruti Suzuki in India.
