Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Mr. Kovind’s term is ending on the 24th of this month. The Prime minister also visited the President’s ancestral village Paraunkh in Uttar Pradesh last month. In Paraunkh, Mr. Modi inaugurated the smart library in Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan and visited a community centre built on the land donated by President Kovind.
President has donated all his inheritance, including a 400 sq yard house and two-and-a-half bigha of land. The community centre helps women get trained in job-oriented courses such as weaving, stitching, embroidery and other courses. President Ram Nath Kovind’s term is ending on 24 July.
