PM apologising to farmers a big thing: Captain Amarinder Singh on farm laws announcement
Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday welcomed the Central government’s announcement of repealing the controversial farm laws and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for apologising to the farmers.
In an exclusive conversation with Times Now’s Editor-in-Chief Rahul Shivshankar, Captain Amarinder Singh said there can be nothing bigger than repealing the three farm laws on Prakash Parv.
Lauding the Prime Minister, he said that PM Modi apologising to farmers is a “big thing”. He claimed that he has never heard a national leader apologise like this.
“By apologising to farmers, PM Modi is showing his humility, there’s no arrogance in this,” stressed the former Congress leader.
He went on to urge the farmers to stop the protests at the Delhi borders, asserting PM Modi has made a “very positive statement”.
