Over 196 crore COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health Ministry said, over 14 lakh 99 thousand vaccine doses were administered to the beneficiaries yesterday.
A total of 13 thousand 216 new COVID cases were recorded in the last 24 hours as several States and UTs are witnessing surge in the cases. With the increase in the cases, India’s active caseload increased to 68 thousand 108 and recovery rate declined to 98.63 per cent. The Health Ministry said, a total of eight thousand 148 COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. According to the Health Ministry, 23 deaths were reported in last 24 hours.
