Over 179 crore 91 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive so far. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, more than 18 lakh 18 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered to the eligible beneficiaries yesterday.
The country reported over three thousand new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at over 40 thousand. Over five thousand Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.71 percent. More than four crores 24 lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far. The Ministry said more than 77 crore 77 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
