Over 178 crore 55 lakh doses of COVID vaccines administered under nationwide vaccination drive so far
Over 178 crore 55 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive so far. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, more than 24 lakh 62 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered to the eligible beneficiaries yesterday.
The country reported five thousand 921 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at 63 thousand 878. The Union Health Ministry said, more than 11 thousand Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.65 percent. More than four crore 23 lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.
The Ministry said, more than 77 crore 19 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far. More than nine lakh 40 thousand Covid test have been conducted in the last 24 hour.
