Over 1.5 million people have fled Ukraine since Russian military operation: UN
The head of the United Nations’ refugee agency has said that more than 1.5 million refugees have crossed from Ukraine into neighboring countries since Russian military operation.
The U.N. high commissioner for refugees, Filippo Grandi, tweeted on Sunday that it is the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II.
However, the UN agency did not immediately give a more precise update on the refugee figures.
