Nitin Gadkari inspects quality, speed of construction of eight-lane Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday reached village Bhutda near Javra in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. Despite the bad weather, Shri Gadkari reached the site and inspected the quality, speed of construction of the eight-lane Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway.

During the visit, Mr. Gadkari was accompanied by several Ministers, MPs and MLAs of the state.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Gadkari said that Delhi- Mumbai Express Highway is the longest highway in the world. Its length is about 1,350 kilometres. In the first phase, it is of eight lanes. We have also given good compensation to the farmers whose land has been taken. Out of the 245-km highway being built in MP, 106 km has been completed, for which the team involved in the construction deserves congratulations.
