Nationwide COVID Vaccination Coverage touches 178 crore 83 lakh doses mark; Recovery rate stands at 98.66 percent

Over 178 crore 83 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive so far. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, more than 26 lakh 19 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered to the eligible beneficiaries yesterday.

The country reported five thousand 476 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at over 59 thousand. Nine thousand 754 Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.66 percent.

More than four crore 23 lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far. The Ministry said, more than 77 crore 28 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
