National Single Window System will help in realising PM Modi’s vision of transforming red tape into red carpet: Union Minister Piyush Goyal

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said that the National Single Window System (NSWS) will help in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming red tape into the red carpet.

Briefing the media in New Delhi, the Minister informed that the PAN number is likely to be used as a unique identifier for Application Programming Interface integration of data between Ministries and States for ensuring a single business user ID. He further added that NSWS would help in reducing data duplication and filling the same data in various forms using the auto-population Module. Mr Goyal also held a review meeting with objectives to increase the usage of NSWS by the industry and use industry feedback to improve systems related to EoDB ease of investor clearances.
