Narcotics worth around Rs 10 crore recovered with arrest of 245 persons in 2022: Railway Ministry

Railway Protection Force, RPF has recovered Narcotic products valued more than three crore twelve lakh with the arrest of 91 persons during the month of March this year. Railway Ministry said, narcotics worth around ten crore rupees were recovered with the arrest of 245 persons in 2022.

The Ministry said, one thousand four hundred and twenty children were rescued in March this year under Operation Nanhe Fariste. This includes 954 boys and 466 girls. RPF undertakes the noble cause of identifying and rescuing children in need of care and protection who are lost and separated from their families due to various reasons.
