Mumbai based lawyer files criminal complaint filed against Javed Akhtar for his alleged remark against RSS

A Mumbai based lawyer has filed a criminal complaint against lyricist Javed Akhtar for his alleged remark against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during a television interview. The complainant, Santosh Dubey has alleged that Akhtar tried to defame RSS in a calculated and well planned move so as to discourage and misguide people. The complainant further claimed Mr Akhtar was very much aware that there is no similarity in thoughts, ideology, philosophy, mindsets and way of functioning of RSS and Taliban in any manner. The plea will come up for hearing on 16th of next month before a Metropolitan Magistrate court.
