India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 120 crore mark; recovery rate is 98.33 percent, highest since March 2020
More than 120 crore 27 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
Health Ministry said, more than 83 lakh 88 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that a total of 10 thousand 549 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 10 thousand 133. The active cases account for less than one percent of total cases and are currently at 0.32 percent, the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 98.33 percent, the highest since March,2020. A total of 9 thousand 868 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 39 lakh and 77 thousand.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.89 percent which is less than tone percent for the last 12 days. The daily positivity rate is at 0.89 percent which is less than two percent for the last 53 days.
Over 63 crore 71 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 11 lakh 81 thousand tests were conducted.
