India wants good relations with every county but it will not compromise with its border: Home Minister Amit Shah addresses DU seminar
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said India didn’t have its defense policy before 2014 and the Narendra Modi government showed the world what it means with surgical airstrikes. Addressing an international seminar organized by Delhi University, Mr Shah said India wants good relation with every county but it will not compromise with its border. The Minister said that from 2014 to 2022, the country has achieved several things and 80 crore people have started considering themselves part of the country. Mr Shah said one can not understand India through the geopolitical lens adding that it is a geo-cultural country and till we understand this, we will not understand idea of India. The minister said some people call India a country of problems, but it has potential to find solutions as well. Mr Shah highlighted several achievements of the Narendra Modi government saying India has become third largest startup ecosystem in the world today.
The minister said the Universities should not become wrestling grounds for ideological battles. He added that National Education Policy is the first such education policy that has not been opposed by anyone and welcomed by all.
