A total of 18 thousand 840 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country during the last 24 hours. Union Health Ministry said, 16 thousand 104 people recovered during the same period.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.51 percent. India’s active caseload currently stands at over one lakh 25 thousand and it is at 0.29 percent.
The Weekly Positivity Rate currently stands at 4.09 percent while the Daily Positivity Rate is at 4.14 percent.
The Ministry said, more than 198 crore 65 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. More than 12 lakh 26 thousand doses were administered during the last 24 hours.
