India Pavilion at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, Holding ‘Steel Week’ from March 11
The India Pavilion at EXPO 2020 in Dubai will hold ‘Steel Week’ beginning from March 11, 2022. The week-long event, which concludes on March 17, 2022, will highlight the expertise of India’s steel sector and demonstrate a variety of prospects and business potential in India’s steel sector.
Union Minister Ram Chandra Prasad Singh will lead a delegation from the Ministry of Steel. The group would be accompanied by senior executives from India’s largest steelmakers, including SAIL, JSW, JSPL, Tata Steel, and AM/NS India.
The group will meet with senior executives from Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company to discuss investment opportunities in India’s steel industry. Senior representatives from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, UAE-based steel producers, and steel user firms will meet to discuss prospects for collaboration and to exhibit investment opportunities in India. During the week, a special session will be held on the ₹6,322 crores Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) plan for Specialty Steel.
The India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is one of the most important forums for showcasing India to the globe and positioning the country as the next growth and innovation hub. “Openness. Opportunity. Growth” is the theme of the India Pavilion. Climate and Biodiversity, Space, Urban and Rural Development, Tolerance and Inclusivity, Golden Jubilee, Knowledge and Learning, Travel and Connectivity, Global Goals, Health and Wellness, Food Agriculture and Livelihoods, and Water are among the 11 primary themes covered by the pavilion, each with its own dedicated zone all housed beneath one massive roof.
