India becomes 5th largest economy in the world, says Union I&B Minister Anurag Singh Thakur
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has said the country’s economy is progressing rapidly and India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, leaving England behind. Anurag Thakur was addressing the program “Mera Himachal – Mera Gaurav 75 Years of Himachal” an event organized in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh today.
He said that the double-engine government has established for rapid development in the country and the state. Comparing the development works done in Himachal since 1948 till now, he said there is a sea change in the state in the last 75 years.
Union Minister said all the welfare schemes of the central government are being extended to the people without any discrimination. The Union Minister said that water sports adventure will also be started soon in the Bilaspur district.
