Over 198 crore 33 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health Ministry said, over nine lakh 95 thousand vaccine doses were administered to the beneficiaries yesterday.
A total of 18 thousand 930 new COVID cases were recorded in the last 24 hours as several states and UTs are witnessing a surge in the cases. With the increase in the cases, India’s active caseload increased to one lakh 19 thousand, and recovery rate declined to 98.52 percent. The Health Ministry said, a total of 14 thousand 650 COVID patients recovered in the last 24 hours. According to the Health Ministry, 28 deaths were reported in last 24 hours.
