India administers over 198.51 crore COVID vaccine doses; recovery rate stands at 98.51 percent
More than 198 crore 51 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Health Ministry said, more than 17 lakh 62 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 18 thousand and 815 new COVID cases were reported in the country.
India’s Active caseload currently stands at one lakh 22 thousand 335 and it is at 0.28 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.51 percent. A total of 15 thousand 899 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and with this, the total recoveries touched over four crore 29 lakh and 37 thousand. The Ministry said the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 4.09 percent and the Daily Positivity Rate is at 4.96 percent.
A total of 86 crore 57 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than three lakh 79 thousand tests were conducted.
