India administers over 189.47 crore COVID vaccine doses; recovery rate stands at 98.74 percent

More than 189 crore 41 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Health Ministry said, more than 16 lakh 23 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, two thousand nine hundred and eleven new cases were reported in the country.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 19 thousand 137 and it is at 0.04 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.74 percent. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.71 percent while the daily positivity rate is at 0.61 percent.

A total of 83 crore 86 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than four lakh nineteen thousand tests were conducted.
