India administers over 187.26 crore COVID vaccine doses; Recovery rate stands at 98.75 percent

More than 187 crore 26 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, more than 18 lakh doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, two thousand four hundred and fifty-one new cases were reported in the country.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 14 thousand 241 and it is at 0.03 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.75 percent. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.47 percent while the daily positivity rate is at 0.55 percent.

A total of 83 crore 38 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than four lakh 48 thousand tests were conducted.
