IMD informs rain will begin in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi including some parts of central India
India Meteorological Department has predicted that thunderstorms and gusty winds are very likely over many parts of the country from today. Northwest India may have rain from today till 4th of May over East India and South Peninsular India will be wet till 6th of May and Northeast India may receive showers till tomorrow. The department informed that rain will begin from today in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi including some parts of Central India.
Talking to AIR News, Senior Scientist in IMD, R. K. Jenamani said, that the temperature will be low due to rain in some parts of central India. He added that there will not be heatwaves over major parts of the country in the next five days. However, some areas of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Central Maharashtra may have nearly 40 Degree temperatures. He advised the fisherman of Andaman not to venture into the sea from 5th of this month.
