Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate Arogya Manthan 2022 on Sunday to celebrate the four years of implementation of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana.
The scheme provides a health cover of five lakh rupees annually to vulnerable families and aims at benefiting more than ten crore poor families across the country. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September 2018. The two-day event will see participation from global and national experts from the healthcare sector along with representatives from academia, think tanks, industry, and media.
