Govt to include facility to apply for PCC services at all online POPSK across the country, starting from 28th September

Government has decided to include the facility to apply for Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) services at all online Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK) across the country, starting from wednesday. External Affairs Ministry said, this will improve the citizen’s experience while availing passport related services.

It said, this step will significantly add to the availability of Police Clearance Certificates appointment slots, and at an earlier date. The Ministry said, this will not only help Indian citizens seeking employment abroad, but also meet the demand for other Police Clearance Certificates requirements, such as education, long-term visa and emigration.
