The government said that no result has been withheld by the Railway Recruitment Board after holding examination including Non Technical Popular Categories examination. This was stated by the Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. He said, the recruitment process for over one lakh 43 thousand vacancies has already been completed. He added that the recruitment process for over one lakh 40 thousand vacancies is at examination stage.
The Minister said, Railway Protection Force has also completed the recruitment process for a total of ten thousand 568 vacancies. He said, over two lakh candidates for various Group C and security-related posts have been empanelled for appointment in Railways during the period of 2016-17 to 2020-21.
