Govt making all out efforts to make Hepatitis-free India: Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya
Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has called for a collaborative effort for the health security of the country. Addressing an event to mark the World Hepatitis Day in New Delhi today, Dr Mandaviya said, government is making all out efforts to make Hepatitis-free India. He stressed on the need to create more awareness among the people for screening of Hepatitis so that early treatment is provided.
World Hepatitis Day is observed each year on 28th of July to raise awareness of viral Hepatitis, which causes inflammation of the liver that leads to severe disease and liver cancer.
