Digital transactions registered tremendous growth in last 3 yrs: Ashwini Vaishnaw in Parliament

Digital payment transactions have witnessed tremendous growth in the country during the last three years. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, BHIM-UPI has emerged as the preferred payment mode and achieved a record of over 61 crore digital payment transactions having value of 8.31 lakh crore rupees in the last month.

The Minister said, 115 percent growth in the number of digital transactions was registered within the span of four years
