Defence Ministry extends timeline for completing annual identification, life certification till June 25
Defence Ministry has extended the timeline for completing the annual identification and life certification till 25th June this year, for those who have not completed it.
The Ministry said, as on yesterday, 34 thousand 636 Pensioners who have been migrated to SPARSH (System for Pension Administration Rakshasa) have not completed their annual identification.
The monthly pension of April, 2022 was credited through a special one-time waiver for 58 thousand 275 pensioners, as their annual identification details could not be verified by their respective banks by month-closing.
The Ministry said, the process of Annual Identification and Life Certification is a statutory requirement for continued and timely credit of monthly pension. In the absence of Life Certification, the initial waiver was given till 25 May and now it has been extended till 25th June.
