The Government has created the Defence Investor Cell to provide necessary information including addressing queries related to investment opportunities, procedures and regulatory requirements for investment in the Defence sector.
The Cell has addressed so far over 14 hundred queries. Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt has given this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. He said FDI inflow of about 494 crore rupees was reported till May this year ever since 2020 after the liberalisation.
