CBI registers case against pvt company Trimax IT Infrastructure and Services for cheating SBI.

The CBI has registered a case against a private company Trimax IT Infrastructure and Services, its officials and some unknown persons for cheating State Bank of India. The private company and its Managing Director Surya Prakash Madrecha and director Chandra Prakash Madrecha and others were booked for cheating the SBI to the tune of over 862 Crores 6 lakhs rupees during 2009 to 2017.

It was alleged that, the accused were granted credit facilities under consortium banking which were enhanced from time to time. It is alleged that, the accused in conspiracy with others, diverted the funds released by banks including SBI. CBI also conducted searches at 9 locations on offices and premises of the accused in Mumbai, Kolhapur etc.
