Brazilian Navy delegation holds discussion with senior officers of Indian Navy

A Brazilian Navy delegation led by Director of Industrial Production and Engineering Vice Admiral Liberal Enio Zanelatto held discussion with senior officers of the Indian Navy in New Delhi on Friday.

The head of the Brazilian delegation also called on Chief of Materiel of India Navy Vice Admiral Sandeep Naithani. Earlier, Brazilian delegation visited Headquarters Western Naval Command and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited at Mumbai on 11th and 12th on July.

Extensive discussions were held between Brazilian and Indian Navy leadership, on areas of mutual cooperation, submarine maintenance, general maintenance philosophy, upgradation of weapons and sensors, and Indian Navy’s indigenisation efforts for achieving self-reliance.
