Australia Welcomes Back Tourists as Borders Fully Reopen
Australia on Monday fully reopened its international borders to travelers who are vaccinated against the Coronavirus after nearly two years of pandemic-related closings. Tourists returned and hundreds of people re-united with family and friends. Australian Tourism Minister Dan Tehan said there would be a “very strong” rebound in the tourism market with Australian airliner Qantas looking to fly more than 14-thousand passengers into Australia this week.
