Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said that Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana has resulted in huge savings for citizens on medical expenses. In a tweet, Dr Mandaviya said, low-cost and quality medicines available at Jan Aushadhi Kendras has brought down the expenses of common man. He said, the savings of citizens on medical expenses has risen from two thousand 500 crore rupees in 2019-20 to five thousand 360 crores in 2021-22.
