Hajj 2022: First batch of 145 pilgrims from J&K leaves for Saudi Arabia
First batch of Haj pilgrims comprising 145 pilgrims was falgged off from Hajj House Bemina on Sunday.The Muslim pilgrimage is resuming after two years owing to the COVID pandemic.
The flight was flagged off by Er Aijaz Hussain, Member HCI along with Commisioner Secretary Revenue Vijay Kumar, Dy CEO HCoI Javed Ahmed and CEO JK Haj committee.
On the occasion, Er Aijaz said the electronic Visas and passport facility have been provided to Hajis, so that they can easily download the same in their mobile applications.
This year 5902 persons, including 5700 from Jammu and Kashmir and 202 from Ladakh are going on the holy pilgrimage.
