Jammu and Kashmir Adminstration on Friday has decided to constitute special investigative team (SIT) to probe all the aspects of Budgam attack in which KP employee was killed yesterday. LG Manoj Sinha said, ” A decision has been taken to constitute special investigative team to probe all the aspects of the despicable terror attack. The SHO of the concerned police station has also been attached.” “J&K administration to provide a government job to Rahul Bhat’s wife in Jammu and financial assistance to the family,” he said. He added, “The government will bear educational expenses of the daughter.” Earlier, the Lt Governor met the relatives of Rahul Bhat and assured justice to the family. In this hour of grief, the government stands firmly with Rahul’s family. Terrorists and their supporters will have to pay a very heavy price for their heinous act, the Lt Governor said. On Thursday, a Kashmiri Pandit government employee was shot dead by militants in his office in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, while a massive hunt is underway to track the attackers. Rahul was employed under PMs Package and left behind his wife and a 9-year-old daughter. Police said preliminary investigations reveal that two terrorists shot Rahul with pistols.
